Simple And Quick Beanie (Adult)

I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas! We had a wonderful holiday made even better with some snow, I just love a white Christmas! Here’s a super simple pattern for a beanie that will keep your head nice and warm, and is just a bit slouchy so you have a little extra room to pull your beanie down for extra warmth or to leave it slouchy so you can stay on trend. Enjoy!

Supplies:

-H hook

-1 skein yarn (I used Caron Simply Soft)

-Tapestry needle

-Scissors

Pattern:

ch 2

1. 10hdc in 2nd from hook

2. 2hdc in each around, sl st to join = 20

3. ch 1, *2hdc, 1hdc* around, sl st to join = 30

4. ch 1, *2hdc, 1hdc in next 2* around, sl st to join = 40

5. ch 1, *2hdc, 1hdc in next 3* around, sl st to join = 50

6. ch 1, *2hdc, 1hdc in next 4* around, sl st to join = 60

7. ch 1, *2hdc, 1hdc in next 5* around, sl st to join, ch 1 = 70

8-22. hdc around (continuously to avoid a seam if you wish or continue to sl st and ch 1 at the end of each row)

23-24. sc around, sl st to finish after your last row. Weave in ends and enjoy!
